Light Motorcycle Licence (A1)
At 17 you may take your light motorcycle licence (A1) test on a bike between 75cc - 125cc. On successfully completing the test you will be able to ride any motorcycle as long as it is restricted to 33bhp. After two years of riding on this licence, you will get an automatic upgrade, to ride any bike.

The Direct Access Scheme (DAS)
Available to anyone over 21 years of age or over and hold a valid CBT and Theory certificate. DAS offers the exciting opportunity to qualify for a full licence. This will enable you to ride any size of motorcycle with no restrictions.
